Propeller

I had an idea to do a design that looked like a propeller, but none was coming to fruitition...this is the closest I've gotten so far. (originally solved on 19 May 2011)

Caged

after a while, the most difficult part of these designs is only the outer ring...in that regard, this one was one of my easier designs. (originally solved on 18 May 2011)

Blacksmith

a second variation on "Sighting-In"...kept the inner three rings the same again and moved blocks of the outer ring around some more. (originally solved on 15 May 2011)

Centerpoint

a variation on "Sighting-In"...just moved around some of the blocks on the outer ring. (originally solved on 15 May 2011)

just a design I came up with on my template, and I like how it came out on the cube. (originally solved on 13 May 2011)

Purina

fun little design I wanted to try...it was named by one of my colleagues. (originally solved on 5 May 2011)

Celtic Knot

this is one of my favorite designs, so far...low-medium difficulty, but I've always been a fan of anything Celtic.(originally solved on 4 May 2011)

Warhol Warhol'd

another sorta cheat, I was just playing around with the "Warhol" and liked what happened...this one is no more than a dozen moves from that one. (originally solved on 3 May 2011)

Warhol

kinda cheated on this one and, since I already had the 2x2 squares from "Pound", I just rearranged them and put a border around them.  the four colored squares on a given front face are the borders of the four sides around the cube. (originally solved on 2 May 2011)

Pound

I'd taken a few days off from puzzling the cube, and when I got back into it, I started out trying to make a flower...this is what happened. (originally solved on 2 May 2011)

Little Ripples

Still playing around with three colors per side.  "Little" because it's the 5x5x5.  "Ripples" because, well... (originally solved on 12 April 2011)

The Asterisk

I can't recall now why I put a different color in the center, except that I think I was trying to incorporate three colors into my designs in some way at the time. (originally solved on 11 April 2011)

The Original

This is the first design I worked on once I mastered the 7x7x7 cube.  I focused on the center 5x5 squares, but took it easy on the outer rings. (originally solved on 9 April 2011)
